Lifeguard Certification Training Course 2022

American Red Cross Course Offered June 3-5

For years, Victory Valley has trained lifeguards for other camps and community pools, as well as for service at Victory Valley Camp. Students who successfully complete the course will receive American Red Cross certification in lifeguarding, CPR, first aid, and AED. Certification is valid for 2 years.

Course enrollment is limited to just 10 students, so download a registration form and mail it in with your check today.

No CPR or First Aid certifications are needed prior to class. To receive your certification, you must pass physical and written tests. There is also some online training that will need to be completed before the in-person sessions. You will receive more information on this when you send in your registration form.

The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.
