Requiring fewer staff to operate, more of our staff will be able to work directly with campers. Whole cabins will be able to climb together with their counselors, enabling deep relationships to form through shared experiences, giving our staff the opportunity to literally walk with campers through difficult or scary moments.
These moments enable campers share scary and difficult parts of their lives with their counselors, who point them to Jesus and help them to understand that Jesus is the only one who will never leave nor forsake them and will walk with them through the darkest valley and will be their ever-present help in times of trouble.
Victory Valley reaches hundreds of students every year who would never step foot in a church and have only heard the name of Jesus as a curse word in the halls of their schools or at home.
Without a replacement for Goliath, many of these lost students
will never attend camp.
Total anticipated cost for this project is ~$300,000 which is needed by April 1st, 2025.
Phase one, engineering and design, requires $150,000, and is already underway! Funds for this phase are needed no later than December 31st, 2024.
