That's a great question. Our actual cost for one week of cabin camp this year is $602.63 per camper. Through the generosity of hundreds of individuals and churches, and by renting our amazing facilities to youth groups and local youth organizations throughout the year, we are able to offer these incredible weeks of camp for significantly less. Each year we work as hard as we can to offset the increases we see due to energy, food, and wage inflation to ensure we can offer the lowest price possible. And we do everything we can to stay at or below the average cost of overnight camp in our area, which is $455.89 for a week of camp this year.

- Victory Valley understands that campers are excited to attend camp for a variety of reasons that are impacted by their age. Sometimes it is friends from school, church, or past years at camp. Other reasons may be a desire to participate in something new in the “older” group, or a desire to try overnight or day camp for the first time. We also understand that sometimes this is a request from parents to be able to send their camper for a specific week of camp to accommodate a work schedule. While we understand and empathize with these concerns, we want to ensure that we do all we can to help every camper have an amazing experience here at camp, which requires us to develop our program to be age specific.
- Each program is created specifically for the age group that is attending that session. Activities, bible lessons, and topics discussed in teaching times are geared towards the average camper in those age ranges. This means that campers younger than their age group may be confused by the vocabulary or topics in a lesson, or feel left out or unable to keep up with the “big kids”. We desire that every camper have the opportunity to grow in their faith, have meaningful interactions with campers and staff, and know that they belong. Being beyond the lower age limit will impact and may harm that experience.
- In order to provide the best experience for all of our campers, we have set age requirements for campers as it pertains to Victory Valley Camp and its various programs. The following are the official requirements we use to select campers outside of the typical age range for Victory Valley Camp, as determined by the Program Director:
- Campers’ birthdays must be no later than two months from the first day of their camp session, and their grade is the same as their peers.
- Campers must show physical and mental maturity to interact on the same level as their peers in this session of camp (defined below)
- Even within these age limits, if it becomes apparent that a camper is not mature enough to participate in camp, physically or socially, for their good and the good of our other campers, we may need to send them home.

We also understand that sometimes this is a request from parents to be able to send their camper for a specific week of camp to accommodate a work schedule, or a parent’s intuition that their child may not be ready for that “next step” as they age out of their current group. An older camper may become bored by games geared towards younger campers, or feel too advanced for the lessons being taught. - Absolutely! We work hard to ensure that campers can come to camp together with their friends.
- You can request cabinmates/groupmates when you register
- Please note that we can’t always meet these requests, but we will let you know if we can’t.
- You bet! Our new pool was designed with extreme sport AND accessibility in mind. This means that we have a HUGE shallow end that is only 3 feet deep, and an underwater ledge that allows even our smallest campers to enjoy the pool.
- We also have trained lifeguards on duty and multiple staff assigned as pool watchers to ensure that our campers can have a blast in the water!
- Campers and Summer Missionaries at Victory Valley dress modestly.
- That means, among other things, that girls wear shirts that don’t ride up in the back when bending or reaching, nor dip down in the front to reveal undergarments or excessive skin. We avoid tight shirts. T-shirts with sleeves are best for their versatility and modesty.
- Girls swimsuits should be either one-piece or two-piece that covers the whole torso, modest, and cut conservatively, (Parents, we know how hard it is to find a modest swimsuit and appreciate the time you invest in doing so.)
- For guys, check that your camper’s shorts have at least a four-inch inseam. Shorts, swim trunks, and pants are worn at the waist with a belt, if needed, and underwear is not seen. We don’t wear boxers as shorts or pajamas as pants except when sleeping. Shirts are worn at all times except during swimming.
- Closed toe shoes are required! Sneakers are the best footwear.
- Flip flops are only worn during trips to and from the pool.
Not unless they plan to spend it in our Gift Shop. Our camp costs are all-inclusive, even Snack Shack!
Absolutely! Every camper gets to choose a drink and a snack every day during their normal Snack Shack time.
Cell Phones, headphones, electronic games or other technology, valuables, pocket knife, gum, or anything else which makes a mess, has sharp edges, or generates smoke or fire.
- Bullying, defined at Victory Valley Camp's sole discretion, will not be tolerated at any activity. If bullying does occur, the Program Manager will take these steps to address the behavior with the camper.
- The behavior will be addressed by the Program Manager, the parent of the camper will be notified, and a consequence will be assigned for that camper's behavior.
- If the behavior continues, that camper may be suspended from camp without refund or proration for as long as the Program Manager deems appropriate for the behavior.
- If after following these two steps, a child does not alter their behavior, Victory Valley Camp reserves the right to indefinitely expel the camper without refund or proration.
- Victory Valley Camp reserves the right to indefinitely suspend or expel a camper for violating Victory Valley Camp Rules and/or bullying policy on a case-by-case basis. Victory Valley Camp will not refund or prorate for days missed.
- Consistent with our Doctrinal Statement, We believe that God created the human race into two complementary sexes (“male and female”) and determines each person’s sex/gender at conception. This distinction of male and female is the first fact mentioned in connection with mankind being made in the image of God (BFC BPL 103-3.2).
- In accordance with Victory Valley’s doctrinal view, campers will share overnight accommodations with others of their same gender.
- In accordance with Victory Valley’s doctrinal view, campers will use provided bathroom and changing facilities as specified for their gender.
